CatfishSpotter uses as little storage on your device as it can. There is no advertising network here, nothing is sold, and nothing follows you to other sites.

Analytics, only if you accept

We use Google Analytics to see which pages are used. Analytics cookies are set only if you choose Accept on the banner. Reject leaves them unset. The choice is stored in a cookie named cs-consent for six months so we do not ask on every page. We do not use advertising cookies.

Things kept on your device, not ours

Two things live in your browser’s own storage rather than in a cookie, and neither is sent back to us as a profile. Your credit code is stored under catfishspotter.coupon so the same browser can keep using it. Your search reports are stored in this browser so the results page can show them again. The server keeps no copy of a search, a photo or a result, as the privacy policy says. Clearing your browser data for this site removes both. You can also delete reports from Search history.
