Search for a catfish check and you will find PimEyes, Social Catfish, and Lenso listed side by side, often as a numbered ranking. Rankings like that are usually ads for a click. The useful comparison is simpler: what each product is for, what you are billed for, and what a result is allowed to mean.
This is not a lab test. Prices and plan names change. Read the current offer on each site before you pay anyone, including us.
Three different products
PimEyes is a face search of publicly available images, sold as a paid plan. It looks for a face, which is the right family of tool when the file itself has changed. It is not a login to a dating app, and a match is not an identity document. If you use it, read its own retention and opt-out terms before you upload a photo of someone else.
Social Catfish is a people-search brand. Reverse image search is one part of a membership that also advertises name, email, phone, and username lookups. That is a broader product than a photo check, and it is sold as a recurring membership. CatfishSpotter does not search phone numbers, emails, or address records.
Lenso is a reverse image search. It looks for similar pictures, including people, places, and copies of a file. That overlaps with both an exact image search and a face search, depending on the photo. It is still a search for public images, not a way into a private account.
Where CatfishSpotter sits
CatfishSpotter is a face search of publicly indexed images, plus a separate check of whether the file looks generated. There is no account. Packs are one-time credits, and nothing renews. One credit opens the source pages for one photo. The photo is not kept by us. The report stays in this browser until you delete it.
It will not give you a risk score, a criminal record, or a list of private accounts. A page comes back when a similar face is already public. If it is not, the search comes back empty, and empty is not proof that a profile is real.
