FIND PUBLIC PAGES BY PHOTO

Find social accounts by photo.
No name required.

Upload a profile picture, selfie, or screenshot. CatfishSpotter looks for that face on publicly indexed pages across the open web, including public social posts. It does not log into TikTok, X, LinkedIn, or any other network, and it does not need a username.

How a photo becomes a page

A name search fails when the display name is fake. A photo search only works when a similar face is already on a public, indexed page. The result is that page, not a directory of private accounts.

01

Upload a clear photo

A profile picture, selfie, screenshot, or creator still. One face, facing the camera, gives the search the most to compare.

  • Screenshots from TikTok, X, chats, and web pages are fine
  • Several faces: you choose which one to search
  • The photo is not kept after the search
02

Look across public pages

The search compares the face with publicly indexed images. A public post, profile, or portfolio can come back. A locked account cannot.

  • No username is required
  • Filters and crops can still match
  • A private story or chat is out of reach
03

Review the profiles you can open

One credit opens the source links. You read the name, the other photos, and whether the story matches.

  • Direct links to public pages
  • The same face under another name is something you judge
  • No automatic label of real, stolen, or fake

Find a public page when the name goes nowhere

People change display names, use nicknames, and open extra accounts. If the face is on a public indexed page, you can start from the picture. Any other username is only what that page already shows. The search does not assemble a hidden profile.

  • Useful when the handle looks made up
  • A cropped screenshot can still lead back to a public post
  • Absence of a page is not proof the account is empty or fake

Public posts on TikTok, X, LinkedIn, and the open web

Someone may post on one network and keep a public page on another, using a similar headshot. CatfishSpotter does not crawl those apps from the inside. If a public page has been indexed, a paid search can return it so you can compare the professional page with the casual one yourself.

  • Public posts, profiles, and portfolios
  • Forums, articles, and ordinary websites
  • Locked, paywalled, and members-only pages stay closed

Creators, models, and uncredited photos

A viral still or a too-perfect follower photo is sometimes a public creator, model, or ordinary person whose picture was reused. A match can show that public page. It does not prove the person messaging you is that creator, or that the creator did anything wrong.

Dating photos and stolen pictures

A dating screenshot is a normal upload. The search checks the face against public images. It does not open Tinder, Bumble, or Hinge. If the same face appears on another public page under a different name, that is a reason to slow down and ask for a live video call.

Searching by photo and searching by name

A name search needs the name to be real. A photo search needs the face to be public. Neither one opens a private account.

What this search can show

  • Surface public pages that show a similar face
  • Help you compare names and photos already on those pages
  • Leave private accounts, stories, and chats untouched

What it will not do

  • Log into TikTok, X, LinkedIn, Instagram, or a dating app
  • List every account a person has
  • Treat a lookalike, or the person in a stolen photo, as the sender
How do I find a social account from a photo?+

Upload a clear picture. If a similar face is on a public indexed page, one credit opens that page. It is a link, not a list of private accounts.

Can I search without a name or username?+

Yes. The photo is the query. A name or handle only appears if it is already written on the source page.

Which networks are included?+

Any public page that has been indexed can come back, including public posts and profiles. CatfishSpotter does not log into those networks. Private accounts are not included.

Does it open private or locked accounts?+

No. Locked profiles, private stories, paywalled pages, and messages stay closed.

Is the upload kept?+

No. The photo is used to run the comparison and is not stored. The report stays in this browser.
